Gaoyite® PVC roofing tiles are manufactured using a scientifically formulated, weather-resistant blend of PVC as the primary raw material, combined with UV-resistant additives, shielding agents, antioxidants, modifiers, and other highly weather-resistant chemical ingredients. They are manufactured using advanced European co-extrusion technology. These tiles convert the UV energy in sunlight into heat and release it, preventing oxidation reactions between the air and the material. Additionally, the incorporation of shielding materials into the core layer further blocks light penetration, thereby significantly extending the service life of the tiles.
- Excellent corrosion resistance
As a modified plastic, it has the corrosion-resistant properties of plastic itself. It has no chemical reaction when immersed in alkali, salt, and acids up to 60% for 24 hours. Ideal for corrosive plants, acid rain prone areas and coastal areas.
- Good soundproofing
The composite co-extruded core layer shielding structure greatly reduces the spread of sound. In the wind, rainstorms and other external noise impact, has a very good noise absorption effect, than the color plate noise drop of more than 30dB.
- Strong fire resistance
The fireproof performance is tested by the national fire prevention department ≥ B1 level, which is a flame retardant material.
- Excellent water resistance
Dense and non-absorbent, large sheet area reduces roof seams.
- Excellent load resistance
It has good loading performance, and does not produce damage and breakage phenomenon in low-temperature areas under year-round snow accumulation. Tested using 2.0MM thick UPVC tile in the support spacing 600MM under the case of loading 100KG, tile will not produce cracks damage phenomenon.
- Excellent thermal insulation performance
The coefficient of thermal conductivity is 0.325W/M.K, which is about 1/310 of clay tile, 1/5 of cement tile and 1/2000 of color steel tile. At the same time, it is full-shading, which greatly improves the heat insulation performance. The experiment proves that the heat insulation effect is 3~4℃ lower than the color steel plate.
- Good impact resistance
Strong impact resistance. Tested: 1 kg steel ball dropped freely from a height of 3.0 meters without cracking.

[Product Installation Recommendations]
- Thickness ≤ 1.3mm, pitch roof purlin span ≤ 600mm, gable roof purlin span ≤ 800mm.;
- 1.3mm< Thickness≤ 1.8mm, Pitched roof purlin span≤ 800mm, Gabled roof purlin span≤ 900mm;
- 1.8mm< Thickness≤ 3.0mm, Pitched roof purlin span≤ 900mm, Gabled roof purlin span≤ 1000mm;
- Middle wave, small trapezoidal wave transverse lap must take 2 waves, longitudinal lap length >300mm.;
- If self-tapping screws are used for fixing, the holes must be pre-drilled and the diameter of the holes must be larger than the diameter of the fixing screws by 2~3mm.
Note: The span of purlin is related to the use temperature of the product, the higher the use temperature, the smaller the span of purlin should be, otherwise the product is easy to deform.
