The typical lifespan of high-quality PVC roofing tiles is approximately 15–20 years, depending on material, installation methods, and environmental factors. Compared to clay tiles and color-coated steel roofing, PVC tiles offer superior corrosion resistance and weather resistance; however, their lifespan is shorter in the hot and rainy regions of southern China, while they are more durable in the north. Installation quality is critical; loose fastenings or an uneven substrate can accelerate aging, potentially shortening the lifespan to around ten years.
