The service life of PVC roofing tiles is significantly affected by climate and installation conditions. Humid and hot environments in the south, with high UV exposure, accelerate aging; in regions with large annual temperature fluctuations, the material’s resistance to aging decreases by 5%–8% each year; in coastal areas with high salt fog levels, the service life must be adjusted accordingly. Low temperatures in the north cause the material to become brittle, but dry conditions with little rainfall slow down oxidation. The installation environment is equally important, and its specific effects require further analysis.
